Jonny Gomes rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Burbank Tigers defeated
the Columbus Crowd by the score of 9 to 6 at Dolphins Stadium.
 
Gomes enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He smashed a solo-shot out of the park
in the 5th inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run (his
3rd of the season) in the 7th inning.  Burbank had 12 hits for the afternoon.
 
The win went to Dustin McGowan(3-7) who allowed 4 runs in 7 innings. Casey
Janssen gained credit for his 6th save.  Tom Glavine(3-5) was tagged with the
loss.
